With a fixed price you know from the start what you pay. No risk from unexpected traffic jams, difficult stairwells or more furniture than planned.

Yes — early bookers (min. 4 weeks in advance) receive a 10% discount. Weekday moves are often cheaper than Saturdays.

Ideally 6–8 weeks in advance. The moving company should be booked at least 2–4 weeks ahead. Saturdays and end-of-month dates are particularly popular and fill up quickly.

Plan re-registration, set up mail forwarding, register electricity/gas/internet, inform landlord, apply for no-parking zone if needed and get boxes.

How do I pack correctly?

Heavy items in small boxes, light items in large ones. Label boxes with room and contents. Pad fragile items well. Clothes can stay in the wardrobe (secure drawers).

Hazardous materials (paint, batteries, gas cylinders) cannot be transported in the moving van. Please dispose of them properly beforehand.

It depends on the size of the apartment: a 1–2 room apartment takes approx. 2–4 hours, a 3–4 room apartment approx. 5–8 hours. A full house move can take a whole day. When booking, we give you a realistic estimate.

When you want to keep parking spaces on a public road free for the moving van — especially in the city centre or narrow residential streets.

How do I apply for a no-parking zone in Nuremberg?

At the Public Order Office (Ordnungsamt) of the City of Nuremberg, at least 3–5 working days in advance. Costs: approx. €20–50 per sign. On request we handle this for you.
